Glittering diamonds arrayed across the smoke grey mithril form the shape of a slim stiletto set diagonally upon the front cover. There are also a number of deep green emeralds and glistening rubies set into the mithril, which form the image of a long-stemmed rose crossing the diamond stiletto. Beneath rose and stiletto, the words, "The Dashing Rogue and the Facts of Life" have been engraved, and, below that, "Songs by Emo Rel".
THE DASHING ROGUE
The streets were filled with fog that night,
Yet sailors didn't heed.
The dashing rogue surveyed the crowd,
And set to do the deed.
"It's easy pickin's," whispered he,
"I'll swim in rum tonight!";
The dashing rogue, he staked his mark,
Eyes greedy with delight.
A silent cut, and the purse was his!
Still filled with shore leave pay!
The dashing rogue moved on again,
To seek out further prey.
A noble woman paced the night,
No place for her indeed!
The dashing rogue, he caught her eye,
And saw she was in need.
"M'lady, by your leave," he said,
"This is no place for you."
The dashing rogue, he led her back,
To safety, lit and true.
"I thank you deeply," the lady sighed,
"How should I pay for this?"
The dashing rogue, he smiled wide,
"A kiss is all I wish."
She blushed aflame, but bent her head.
And a kiss she did alight.
The dashing rogue dumbfounded stood,
While she slipped into the night.
He slowly smiled, but caught up short.
His coin purse was away!
The dashing rogue laughed mightily,
The hunter, now the prey.

THE FACTS OF LIFE
There are those who say
That the best things are free.
You can't buy love, friendship,
Or true loyalty.
They're short-sighted people
Who haven't a clue
'bout the true power of silver
And what it can do.
Imagine ...
Beautiful charm bracelets.
Red ponytails.
Fast felwood racing boats,
fitted with sails.
Wine from the Hinterlands,
My hearts a-flutter!
Bone slicing falchions,
Like hot knives through butter.
Rubies and Diamonds
And Sapphires, Pearls!
Magical trinkets
Fit for an Earl.
Dinner at Helga's,
Then off to the Zoo.
"I'll take Wehnimer's,
And Solhaven, too!."
To the fools who say
That the best things are free.
And you can't buy love, friendship,
Or true loyalty.
If you think there are things
That silver can't get,
You aren't stinking rich enough yet!
